Speed and Explosiveness Workouts
Challenge yourself in the sand!

 Incoming 9th - 12th grade girls (Competitive 7th and 8th graders welcome)
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings
Time: 10am - 11am
Cost: $10 per session
Players choose when they come and can join at any time

     

Join us June 13th through July 1st on our white sand volleyball courts for a kick in the rear by Gene Toms, a CSCS certified speed and strength trainer as well as Junior Olympic coach.  Workouts will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour 3 days a week for 3 weeks.  We will train on our sand volleyball courts except in cases of rain when we will train indoor or cancel (rain updates available after 8:30am by calling 459-7382).  Expect to improve your conditioning and become stronger and more explosive as you drill in the sand.  Top pro athletes know the value of cross training and specifically the use of beach workouts to increase strength, speed, and agility.  You will work muscles that you never knew you had.  We will incorporate challenges and sand volleyball oriented drills to keep the mood light but our goal is to challenge your body to take that next step.  You're going to want to wear beach clothes, sunscreen, and bring a towel and water jug.  Our outdoor shower will be available after the workouts for cool down.  Immediately following each workout we will have
Open Play volleyball for HS ages from 11 - 1.  Open play is free for those who attend the workout and $5 for those who skip the workout.

You can come to one workout or all of them.  It's up to your schedule.  We hope you take advantage of this offering.

No money is due until you arrive for each workout.  You will pay $10 each time.
