4th Grade Spring Training Team Rosters      

   Express Training Home 

The 4th grade age division is a non-tryout age group.  We have added a 2nd team which will practice on Fridays from 6:00-7:30 and the rosters for both groups are posted below.   Players should bring their check ($140 for Wednesday or $100 for Friday made payable to Sports Express) to the evaluation day.  Any players not present will be removed from the group and the next player on the waiting list will be added.   If there is no way you can make it to the evaluation day please call John Paul or Lisa at 398-2400 and we can process your credit card over the phone and hold your spot.  Practices will begin the week of March 17th and will include individual and team concepts with scrimmage play being built in as we proceed.   Your 4th grade trainers are accomplished coaches who have bought in to our mission of making better volleyball players outside the JO and school season.  Sports Express is lucky to have them as a part of this activity.  

Coach Katie Holly is the Varsty Assistant at Kings High School and coach of the Sports Express U15 National team.  Katie was a setter in college and still plays USA Volleyball today.  She is a manager and private instructor at Sports Express. 

Coach Amanda Schuler is the Varsity Head Coach at Kings High School and has coached 12 years of JO volleyball.  She is the coach of both the U12 and U14 Sports Express JO teams and is a private instructor as well.  Amanda will be assisted by Shelby Kies, a Libero at Kings High School.   

What to do now:  Have your daughter at the evaluation day (either March 13th or March 14th).  If you are going to miss a practice it is not necessary to call but we'd like to hear from you if you must miss more than 1 in a row.  We take teams in 16 player groups because we know players will be sick or have other commitments from time to time.  We'd like to have at least 12-14 players at each practice for scrimmage and drill purposes.  Players will receive team shirts during week 2.
