Christmas Camps 2009

This year's calendar has opened up a few more dates for our Christmas Camps.  We will be running 3 different camps as described below.  Each will be tailored to match up with the CYO season  just getting started.  We will be instructing using the same balls, net heights, and service line distances that the CYO uses.  Come join us for some extra touch on the ball over the Christmas break.  To enter you must submit the form below and then pay when you arrive at camp.  Please plan on paying with cash or check only for ease of check-in on those mornings.  Please do not register if you are unsure about your availability.  Thank you for your help in this regard.

Clinic #1  
5th and 6th Grade girls only 
When:  December 21st and 22nd (Monday/Tuesday) from 9:30 - noon  (5 total hours)
Who:  Any current 5th or 6th grade players
Cost:  $40
Description: There are 4 primary skills used in volleyball: serving, passing, hitting, and setting.   You can't get a enough GOOD repetitions on each skill.  This will be the focus of this camp.  We will also incorporate some game play and other fun activities so everyone has a good getting better.  The net height will be 6'6" and we will use regulation volleyballs.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early the 1st day so we can get checked-in and warmed-up.

Clinic #2
7th and 8th Grade girls plus advanced 6th graders
When:  December 30th (Wednesday) from 10am - 2:30pm  (4 1/2 total hours)
Who:  Any current 7th or 8th grade players plus 6th graders with 2 or more years of experience
Cost:  $40
Description: This camp will include instruction on each of the individual skills plus we will cover team play.  We will include a pizza lunch as a part of this camp around noon.  The net height will be 7'4 and we will use regulation volleyballs.  6th graders will have to play on the higher net.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can get checked-in and warmed-up.

Clinic #3
3rd and 4th Graders plus beginner 5th graders
When:  December 28th and 29th (Monday/Tuesday) from 9:30 - noon  (5 total hours)
Who:  Any current 3rd or 4th grade players
Cost:  $40
Description: This camp is being offered as an introduction to the four main volleyball skills.  Correct form, footwork, and lots of repetitions will be the goal.   The net height will be 6 foot and we will use VolleyLite volleyballs.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early the 1st day so we can get checked-in and warmed-up.
